Merseyside's Police Commissioner and Chief Constable are hosting a regular meeting with all of the region's Members of Parliament.

Emily Spurrell and Serena Kennedy meet every half yearly with all 15 of the MPs which represent Merseyside.

These regular meetings provide the Commissioner and the Chief Constable with the chance to update the elected members on serious, strategic and topical issues affecting policing and community safety across the region.

The meetings, held at Merseyside Police Headquarters, also give the MPs an opportunity to ask questions about issues affecting their residents and get information about upcoming campaigns and legislation.

Improving accountability and transparency is one of the PCC's key priorities, and these quarterly meetings provide another forum to demonstrate how the Commissioner and Merseyside Police are responding to the issues that matter most to local people.
