Merseyside's Police Commissioner and Deputy will meet with her PCC colleagues from around the country in London today.

Emily Spurrell and Cllr Jeanie Bell are attending a General Meeting of the Association of Police and Crime Commissioner's (APCC), the national body which represents Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs).

The first day of the two-day event will include a keynote speech from Policing Minister, Chris Philip followed by a focus on Crime Prevention, introduced by the APCC Economic Crime and Cyber Crime Leads. 

The second day will include a keynote speech from APCC Chair, Marc Jones. There will also be a presentation on securing investment and supporting innovation as well as collaborating effectively across policing and criminal justice and supporting victims of crime.
