Remembering Liverpool's Lost Women

Merseyside's Police Commissioner will be among the speakers at the 'Remembering Liverpool's lost women' vigil hosted by charity Liverpool Domestic Abuse Service (LDAS).
Emily Spurrell will be joining the Mayor of Liverpool, Joanne Anderson, the Women's Organisation's Maggie O'Carroll, and Merseyside Police's Chief Supt Ngaire Waine at the vigil being held to mark International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls.
The event will give attendees the chance to pause and reflect to remember the women and girls who have been lost to male violence in Liverpool.
The event is being hosted by the Liverpool Domestic Abuse Service, Amadudu and the PCC's Victim Care Merseyside partner RASA Merseyside.
The event will also see performances by Batala Mersey drummers, the Sense of Sound Choir and the poet Natalie Denny.
