PCC pays tribute to Her Majesty The Queen

"I join people across our region, the country and around the world, in sending my deepest sympathies and condolences to all members of the Royal Family during this painful and difficult time.
"As our longest-reigning monarch, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth served with extraordinary devotion and unwavering dedication and dignity for 70 years. She epitomised public duty and service and provided stability and continuity during decades of change, including many turbulent times.
"As we now enter a period of national mourning, I know many people across Merseyside will come together to remember her with affection and gratitude."
